In this simple and gentle 30-minute restorative practice, you will enjoy using the breath to create subtle openings in the body. Start laying down on the back with a gentle twisting flow, beginning to wake up the body and bring blood flow and energy to the glutes, low back, and core. Use a yoga/lacrosse ball (or tennis ball works too) for gentle glute activation, rolling on the ball brings fresh blood flow to the glutes and offers some release for the fascia, which when tight, can cause major low back tension. This restorative practice will bring your body back to its neutral, natural state, helping to reset, open the hips, glutes and low back, using props and self-massage techniques to get deeper into the muscles to find that sweet release. Trust your intuition and let your breath guide your movement.
